Often the complexity of the business or social organisation is felt due to the dynamic intertwined subsets of operational system. Additional aspects like environmental kinesis even mould it more complex. For business smooth operation, modelling a complex system is often difficult due to dependencies, spontaneity, and oscillating yet adaptive behaviour. However, many times such complex system has to reorganise and reorient its dynamism to become self-sustainable. Chaos is a close related concept to it indicating that a delta change in the initial conditions can bring out randomness, even with deterministic laws. Thus, with same underlying principles with minor initial variation can bring out drastic change in outcomes. However, interestingly many rational organisations intuitively try to avoid such path and complexity and wish to take decisions on hard data provided by the environmental system. Abrogating the decision unpredictability is the desired outcome that should be based on simple rules or heuristics.
